About Sarah's Portfolio

A Portfolio in Development

My website showcases a collection of my work, including projects completed thus far in my classes. With a passion for creativity and a dedication to quality, I strive to bring unique and innovative solutions to every project I undertake.

Skills and Strengths Summaries

Developing communication and interpersonal skills has been a big focus of my college career! Read below for some more personal elevator pitches I've developed to better encapsulate my strengths.

Graphic Design

Digital Identity

From logos to marketing materials, I'm learning how to make designs that reflect a unique identity and resonate with the clients target audience. My favorite programs include Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and I'm working to gain 100% confidence in all Adobe programs by graduation.

Coding & Programming

Patience in Debugging

I like to joke that I have "half" a physics degree, as I spent 2.5 years pursuing a B.S. before switching to design. I saw a lot of my coding skills transfer over fortunately, such as proficiency in Python, SolidWorks, matLab, Linux, LabView, and Java.

Print Media

Compelling Copywriting

Through my print media courses, I have gained a knowledge of different printing materials and the complex processes behind each. I've learned the importance and responsibility of a graphic designer to have a general knowledge of the whole printing process in order to avoid unnecessary headaches between the collaborating industries.

Web Development

Digital Solutions

As a current web design student, I am gaining expertise in Adobe Dreamweaver and HTML5 programs in general. My previous coding experience has been a great help in quickly adapting my coding style to this format. HTML5 seems to be the most intuitive language I've learned so far, and I wish I'd been able to start here!
